Assalamualaykum
Dear beautiful soul
Bismillah
Thirty Weeks of Showing Up
This is our 30th Soulful Serenity newsletter , thirty weeks of sitting down, reflecting, writing, and sharing pieces of my own journey with you.
And honestly… when I think about it, it feels a little surreal.
Thirty weeks of consistency.
Thirty weeks of honesty.
Thirty weeks of choosing to show up , even on the days where life was heavy, rushed, or overwhelming.
And if you’re ever looking for any of the previous newsletters, you’ll find every single one on the Soulful Serenity Community page. Every reflection. Every lesson. Every moment we’ve walked through together.
It’s been a beautiful journey. And today’s reflection feels important because it’s something I’ve been observing a lot lately.
Let’s Be Honest About the Illusion of Healing
I want to start with a truth that many people feel, but don’t always say out loud.
When we scroll through social media, it’s so easy to believe that healing looks like what we see on the screen , the aesthetics, the café-hopping, the events, the perfect smiles, the polished captions, the travelling, the “soft life.”
You see influencers, coaches, and even ordinary people posting photos that look effortless and alive. And sometimes, without realising it, we hold that image in our minds as the goal ,as if that is what a healed life should look like.
But that’s not healing.
At least not the real part of it.
Yes, those moments are beautiful. Yes, stepping out and changing your scenery can be good for your heart. But what we often forget is that behind those photos, everyone has a behind-the-scenes.
And some women maybe even you try to imitate that life, not because you want the joy, but because you're running from your pain. Trying to fill your calendar, your feed, your time with anything that will help you avoid that one thing you haven’t healed yet.
And in the process, you think you’re moving towards healing…
But you’re actually moving away from yourself.
So What Does Real Healing Actually Look Like?
Real healing is not glamorous.
It’s not soft lighting and filtered moments.
It’s not the highlights of your week.
Real healing begins the moment you finally ,finally, stop running and tell yourself the truth.
It starts with acknowledgement.
In the first chapters of Journey to Growth, I go deeply into this. Because nothing in your life can shift until you are willing to acknowledge what is happening inside you.
And I’ll tell you the truth:
Healing is not pretty.
It shakes you.
It exposes the parts of you you’ve been protecting for years.
It drags you out of your comfort zone.
It makes you sit with emotions you’ve buried so deeply you forgot they existed.
It asks you to let go of masks that once kept you safe, but are now suffocating you.
Sometimes, before you come under the healing umbrella, you walk straight into the storm , without anything to shield you.
You face the fear, the grief, the anger, the confusion.
You face the part of yourself you've avoided for too long.
It’s not simple. It’s not easy.
But it is the most worthwhile thing you will ever do.
Because you were not created to simply survive your own life.
You were born on purpose, for a purpose and uncovering that purpose is part of your healing.
When you finally stop living robotically, when you stop abandoning yourself, when you choose to understand your emotions instead of numbing them , everything begins to change.
And that change starts with you.
📣 This Wednesday: The Vision Within (Live Workshop)
I want to remind you about something close to my heart — The Vision Within, happening this Wednesday.
I want to say this clearly, because it’s important:
this workshop is not about creating a perfect plan for 2026, or writing neat little goals that you’ll “try” to stick to.
Life isn’t a straight line. Seasons change, circumstances shift, and so do we.
But what doesn’t change is the vision Allah placed inside you ,the one you keep pushing aside because life keeps pulling you into your roles.
This workshop is about returning to that vision.
The one beneath the layers of “mother,” “wife,” “daughter,” “caregiver,” “provider.”
The one you forget exists because the world keeps demanding so much from you.
Your vision is not a yearly goal.
It’s a lifelong compass.
It’s what steadies you on the days you feel lost and heavy.
It’s what reminds you of who you are when you feel reduced to responsibilities.
It’s what pulls you forward when you feel stuck in the same routines, the same walls, the same expectations.
It’s what whispers to you at 2am when you’re overwhelmed:
You were born on purpose for a purpose.
And no .it’s not about leaving behind a “big” legacy.
Most legacies are quiet.
Most legacies live in the hearts we change, the healing we embody, and the generations that soften because we chose to do the inner work.
That’s what The Vision Within is about.
A returning.
A remembering.
A re-rooting back into the part of you that has been waiting to breathe again.
If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself and create an inner direction that will hold you far beyond 2026, message me to book your place. https://wa.me/27765715382
A Reminder From My Interview This last week
During an interview last week , I was reminded of the quote that started my own journey ,the quote I placed in my book because of the impact it had on me.
Rumi says:
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world.
Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”
This is where every journey begins.
You cannot change your life, your relationships, your peace, your patterns , until you change yourself.
And that change comes from within. When we live from this truth, let of of the need for others or your situtaton to change, there is a burden that's lifted you never thought possible,
🌸 Emotional Healing Sessions: Limited Openings
A few one-on-one emotional healing sessions have opened up for the remainder of the year, and pre-bookings for next year have already begun.
These sessions are not surface-level.
They go into the emotional, spiritual, and subconscious layers of your story.
They help you understand your nervous system, your triggers, your patterns, and your inner wounds.
If you’re ready to do the deeper work, message me.
Payment arrangements are available.
📚 Digital Workshops & Courses (Self-Paced)
For those who prefer learning at their own pace, I’ve created workshops and courses that are simple to understand, yet deeply transformative.
Topics include:
- Nervous system regulation (The Healing Umbrella)
- Body acceptance
- money mindset, and many more to come in the next year
I created these with one intention:
To make emotional healing accessible.
To give women real tools , not vague advice.
To help you return to your fitrah — that pure, sincere, authentic version of yourself.
Because when a woman returns to herself, she changes everything.

If there is one message I want you to take from this 30th newsletter, it’s this:
Healing begins the day you stop running from yourself.
You deserve to feel again.
You deserve to understand your heart.
You deserve to live with intention, with purpose, with connection, with authenticity.
May you return to the woman Allah always knew you were capable of becoming.
With love,
Nazia
