Assalamu alaykum,
Dear Beautiful Soul
Bismillah,
Before I say anything else, I just want to pause and say, thank you.
Thank you for being here, for walking this path of growth and surrender with me. Every message, every story you share… I read them, and I carry them with me. It means so much to know that what I put out into the world meets you somewhere in your own journey.
The Healing Umbrella ☂️
I’m so excited to finally tell you that The Healing Umbrella launches next week, Wednesday, 15th October, insha’Allah.
This project came from a simple question I once asked online:
Would you want to learn the tools that helped me through my storms?
The response was incredible. So I decided to create a space, a self-paced workshop, where I could share exactly that. The same tools that helped me calm my nervous system, regulate my emotions, and find peace when life felt overwhelming.
The Healing Umbrella is a digital workshop complete with guided meditations, practical tools, and a downloadable workbook that you can do in your own time.
It’s called The Healing Umbrella because that’s what it became for me:
a way to find shelter in the storm.
The umbrella doesn’t stop the rain. It doesn’t control the weather.
But it gives you a safe space to breathe until the storm passes.
And that’s what nervous system healing does: it helps you find your center when everything around you feels chaotic.
If you’d like to be one of the first to get access, message me directly on WhatsApp. I’ll send you the special launch offer before it goes public next week, insha’Allah.
Breaking the Patterns We Inherit
Yesterday, I shared a beautiful conversation between a grandmother and her granddaughter on Instagram if you missed it, you can find it here.
And that conversation really stayed with me.
Because so much of what we carry, our fears, our emotional habits, even the way we love or stay silent, doesn’t start with us. It’s passed down, quietly, through generations.
But the moment we decide to face it to name it, to heal it, something shifts.
We stop the pattern from repeating.
Many of us were taught that being patient meant keeping quiet, or that being a “good woman” meant staying, even when everything inside us was breaking. But that’s not patience. That’s not sabr.
True sabr is standing in truth, with dignity and tawakkul.
It’s trusting that Allah’s mercy is greater than the fear of change.
And yes, this work is hard. But it’s sacred work. Because healing isn’t just for us, it’s for those who come after us. It’s how we make sure our children inherit courage instead of silence, self-worth instead of shame.
This isn’t only a woman’s work. It’s a human one.
We all share the responsibility of breaking harmful cycles and building better ones.
Experience Life , Don’t Escape It
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how often we crave escape. We tell ourselves, “I just need a break. I need to get away.” But sometimes what we really mean is, I don’t want to feel this.
We want to escape discomfort. Pain. Uncertainty.
But what if we stopped running, stopped escaping from life and started experiencing it?
Because the truth is, peace doesn’t come from changing where you are.
It comes from changing how you see.
Every moment, every person Allah places in your path, is there for a reason. Some people hold up a mirror and help you see yourself more clearly. Others remind you of your strength, or your softness, or the way back home to Him.
And when you start to live with that awareness, everything becomes a lesson. Even the storm. Even the stillness.
The world tells us we need to collect moments.
But Allah teaches us to be in them.
Say Alhamdulillah, over and over again, for the small, ordinary blessings that keep your life stitched together. The sound of laughter. A simple meal. The peace of prayer.
Because that’s what shifts everything.
Gratitude turns chaos into clarity. It trains your heart to see what’s still good even when life doesn’t look how you imagined it.
A Final Thought
Healing is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about remembering who you are beneath everything that’s hurt you.
So, keep whispering Alhamdulillah. Keep learning. Keep choosing peace, even when it’s quiet and unglamorous.
With love and light,
Nazia
