Bismillah
Assalamualaykum Dear beautiful soul,
First, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has purchased the She Who Surrenders PDF so far. Knowing that this journey is not only helping you but also supporting women in our communities divorced women, single mothers, widows, and women in need ,fills me with so much gratitude. If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, or want to gift it to someone, here’s the link: https://nazia1.gumroad.com/l/Shewhosurrenders. It’s a gentle, powerful tool that’s been making a real impact, helping women step into surrender, healing, and living with more peace and flow.
Seeing Life Through Our Own Tinted Glasses
Sometimes, we don’t realize how much we carry around our own coloured glasses the filters through which we see and interpret everything. These glasses shape our judgments, assumptions, and reactions. And when our cups are already full, full of old beliefs, fears, or wounds, we often miss what’s right in front of us or what we could learn.
I catch myself doing this, too. It’s human. Healing doesn’t mean we suddenly become perfect or immune to being triggered. It means we keep shining the torch inward, noticing when our ego is playing games, making us judge, resist, or assume before really understanding.
Maybe someone rubs us the wrong way, or we don’t click with their energy. The ego starts to pick at their flaws, at all the “wrong” things. But the key is to become aware of this , to ask, Where is this coming from? What is my heart really saying? That’s where the growth and healing happen. Because the more we heal, the more sophisticated these ego patterns become, and the more we have to be vigilant.
Honouring Women, Starting With Ourselves
August is Women’s Month , a time to celebrate the incredible women around us and the roles we play in society. But I want to invite you to also celebrate yourself. Not just this month, but every day.
We can be hard on ourselves for mistakes, for not doing enough, for carrying so much. Generational trauma weighs heavily on us, and sometimes it feels easier to focus on fixing everything outside than to tend to the woman within.
But real change begins when we start with ourselves. Healing ourselves, investing in our growth and well-being. As women, we naturally invest so much in others our children, our families, our communities , but we must not forget to invest in us.
For me, emotional healing was the first step on this journey. It guided me through some of my darkest places and helped me find my way back to peace and purpose. And I truly believe that any investment in yourself, no matter how big or small, no matter how many times you need to revisit it, is never wasted. It’s always a step forward.
