Assalamualaikum, dear beautiful soul,
Bismillah,
This week’s newsletter is reaching you a little later than planned. Its a day late, and that, in itself, became the lesson.. I wasn’t well , and I had to pause. And that pause reminded me of something important: healing is not just about doing, it’s also about listening.
Sometimes we push ourselves forward, and sometimes our bodies ask us to stop. Both are part of the journey. Rest isn’t weakness, it's a way of surrendering, a way of trusting that we don’t always need to carry everything at once.
She Who Surrenders – Closing Women’s Month
As Women’s Month comes to an end, so does this chapter of She Who Surrenders. But the work continues. When you purchase it, you’re not just investing in your own healingyou’re also extending support to women who need it most.
There are single mothers, widows, women facing loss or walking away from abuse carrying silent struggles that most people will never see. Our intention with this project has always been to ease that weight, even in a small way.
And this is the beauty of it: even R10 can become a source of hope. Hope is often the very thing that helps a woman rise again. My dua is that Allah fills every act of giving with barakah, and that this is only the beginning of many more projects like this, inshaAllah. Click here To purchase your copy of She who surrenders
Writing Beyond Borders – Moduss Magazine
I also had the chance to share something new,a piece of writing for Moduss, a digital magazine that celebrates creativity, culture, and connection. What drew me to Moduss is its authenticity. It doesn’t just put out content; it creates a space for stories that matter.
My article, Wellness Without Borders, reflects on how true healing doesn’t fit neatly into boxes or boundaries. I won’t say too much here, because I’d love for you to read it in full: https://modussmagazine.gumroad.com/l/hrizp
And if you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ll know that this past week I’ve been speaking about the body–mind–soul connection. For me, they can never be separated. Healing is about remembering how all three live together within us, how the body carries, how the mind remembers, and how the soul trusts.
This is exactly what we work on in my emotional healing sessions. We don’t just cover things up with tools. We go deeper, we find the root of the pain, the patterns, the old wounds. And only then do we bring in the tools that help you regulate and rebuild.
Because true healing isn’t maintenance, it’s transformation. It’s choosing to no longer carry what was never yours to hold.

A Reflection to Carry With You
Some mornings I rise with light in my chest, and other mornings I have to search for the faint glimmer of hope just to remember what light feels like. Some days I stand tall, almost untouchable, and some days I crumble into what feels like a bottomless pit. Yet even then, we rise. Again and again, we rise.
There are days when surrender feels gentle, almost natural. And there are days when surrender feels like tearing myself apart, letting go of what I wanted to hold so tightly. But what I’ve learned is this: we are not only one or the other. We can be both strength and fragility, hope and despair, rising and falling, all at once. And still, from that very place, we continue on.
This is what the body–mind–soul connection really is. It’s not about perfection. It’s about being whole, even in our rising, our breaking, and our surrender.
Until next week,
Nazia 🌸
