Soulful Serenity Newsletter #11-You can’t expect full results from half surrender.

Nazia Saley

Assalaamu Alaikum

Dear Beautiful Soul

Bismillah,

Last week, you may have noticed there wasn’t a newsletter, and that’s because I was on course again, immersed in this work I love so deeply. And honestly, each time I show up to hold space for others, I walk away learning just as much. These workshops remind me, again and again, how important consistency, reminders, and being around women who are genuinely doing the work really is.

There’s something magical that happens when women gather in a space of growth, healing, and deep authenticity. We speak truthfully. We learn to soften ego. We remember who we are beneath the noise. I actually wrote a post reflecting on this, and if you’d like to read it, you can find it here.

🌿 The Month of Surrender (Soulful Serenity Challenge)

Inside our Soulful Serenity Community, we’ve begun our Month of Surrender, and this came from a deeply personal place.

I realized recently that while I thought I was surrendering to Allah, I was still gripping tightly onto control. Still attached to results. Still expecting full outcomes from half-surrender. And that’s not how it works.

So this challenge was born , as a reminder to myself, and for anyone else who might be in the same place: we can’t ask Allah to take over while our hands are still on the wheel. Surrendering doesn’t mean passivity , it means trust. It means letting go of outcomes, timelines, attachments that no longer serve us, and the illusion that we’re in control.

The practices we’ve done so far may seem simple , but they aren’t small. And no, this isn’t a quick fix. This is about beginning to loosen what we’ve held for far too long.
If you’re enjoying the challenge or think someone you love could benefit from it, feel free to share the link to join.

❄️ Surrendering to the Season You’re In

Winter has always been a bit of a challenging time for me. I’ve noticed how my energy dips, my motivation shifts, and there’s an inner slowing down one I often resist. But lately I’ve come to understand that just like the Earth surrenders to its seasons, we need to surrender to our own.

We don’t have to like every season we’re in, but we can learn from it. Hibernation is also healing. Slowness is also sacred. And even discomfort is an invitation to trust Allah’s rhythm more than our own.

💛 1:1 Emotional Healing Therapy

If you’ve been going through your own transition, transformation, or simply feel like you need extra support, remember, you don’t have to do it alone.

Our emotional healing therapy sessions are still available. While the special is no longer running, payment plans are available, and I only take on a few clients at a time so I can be fully present for each one. If you’d like to learn more or be guided toward the right package, you’re welcome to reach out directly.

📦 What’s Coming + Where Else to Find Me

I’m also working on some new coaching content and classes, which I’m really excited about. They’ve been brewing quietly and I can’t wait to share them with you soon, InshaAllah.

And because platforms like Meta (Instagram/Facebook) have become trickier to reach the people who actually want to hear from me, I’ve now joined:

  • Substack
  • Upscrolled

I’ll be sharing reflections, offers, healing tips, and real-time thoughts across these platforms as well. You can find more info on my website here.

You can also continue to follow me on:

💫 A Final Word on Investing in Yourself

Sometimes, we hesitate when it comes to investing in healing. But here’s what I truly believe: the investment you make in yourself is never wasted. Whether it’s one session, one masterclass, or one moment of showing up for yourself, it all counts. It all matters.

And the beauty is, there’s no “one way” to heal. Whether you’re looking for something small to begin with or want to go deeper, there’s something for every level, every budget, and every season of life.

Take what you need. Leave what you don’t. And always remember ,growth is not a race, it’s a return.

With so much love and presence,
Nazia

Letters for Living -Newsletter 55 When You Feel Like There Is Nowhere to Go

Letters for Living #55 Helping you move from surviving to living with purpose. As-salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh, dear beautiful souls, Bismillah. It’s been a few weeks since I last sat down to write to you. And perhaps that in itself is part of today's reflection. Because life happens. We make plans. We have ideas about how things are going to unfold. We place things into little boxes in our minds and think, this is how it’s going to be. And then life takes us somewhere completely different. Sometimes gently. Sometimes not so gently. And I think one of the hardest things for us to accept is just how uncertain life really is. We can have a plan today and tomorrow something changes. A person changes. A door closes. Money disappears. An opportunity doesn't work out. Something we were relying on suddenly isn't there anymore. And when that happens, we can realise just how much of our sense of safety was attached to that particular thing. Because when the means ...

ABOUT

NAZIA Saley Transformational and Mindset Coach Emotional Healing Therapist About Me Life has a way of shaping us, often through challenges that leave us questioning our worth, our strength, and our purpose. For years, I wore a smile that masked a whirlwind of low self-esteem, anxiety, and quiet despair. I believed I had to appear strong, flawless, and unshaken, even as I felt lost and disconnected inside. In 2006, I reached a pivotal moment—a turning point where I realized that merely existing was no longer enough. I began the courageous journey of self-healing, peeling back the layers of doubt and pain to uncover the light that had been within me all along. That journey transformed not only my life but also my purpose. Today, as an emotional healing therapist and transformational coach, I am passionate about guiding others to rediscover their own light, heal from within, and live in alignment with their true selves. I believe that every person has the power to overcome self-doubt,...
